General information, not advice
Payjoey provides calculators and explanations as general information only. Nothing here is financial, tax, legal or employment advice, and none of it takes your circumstances into account. Before acting on anything on this site, confirm it with the ATO, Fair Work, your employer, or a registered tax agent or licensed adviser.
We are not affiliated with the ATO, Fair Work, any government agency, bank, super fund, payroll vendor or lender, and we do not sell your details to any of them. We cite official sources; we do not speak for them.
What we promise about accuracy, and what we do not
The promise is effort and transparency, not perfection. Every rate is read from a dated file that names its official source, every engine is pinned by automated tests to the authority’s own published worked examples, and each page shows when it was last verified. Where a figure is an assumption rather than a published rate — a future indexation rate, a future threshold — the page says so on its face rather than burying it.
Even so: rules change, schedules are legislated retrospectively, edge cases exist and mistakes are possible. A calculator here models a described situation, and eligibility we do not ask about can change your real answer. Nothing on this site is a quote, an assessment, or a substitute for your notice of assessment or payslip. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Payjoey accepts no liability for any decision made on the basis of this site.
If you find something wrong, please tell us. Corrections take priority over everything else we are building: hello@payjoey.au.
Fair use
Use the calculators freely, link to any page, and quote short excerpts with attribution — we would rather be cited than copied, and we build our tables as plain text so quoting is easy. Please do not scrape the site wholesale, republish it as your own, or present its output as an official figure from the ATO or anyone else.
Advertising
The site is supported by clearly distinguishable advertising, supplied by third-party networks. An ad appearing here is not an endorsement, we do not control what appears in it, and advertising never influences a calculator’s result or where a page sits. We also keep advertising away from the working: there is never an ad between a calculator’s inputs and its answer.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as it is, without any warranty that it will be available, uninterrupted or error free. We may change, add or remove calculators and pages at any time — most often on 1 July, when the new financial year’s schedules are published. These terms may change too; the date at the top will change with them.
These terms are governed by the law of Australia.
